POWERTEX στην Ελλάδα

Μετά από μεγάλο διάστημα απουσίας και διάφορα σεμινάρια τέχνης που έκανα στο εξωτερικό, γύρισα στην Ελλάδα με καινούρια δεδομένα.
Έφερα το POWERTEX στην Ελλάδα ως αποκλειστικός αντιπρόσωπος. Έφτιαξα δικό μου χώρο, ένα στούντιο τέχνης, με σκοπό να μοιραστώ μαζί σας όλα τα μυστικά του, να σας κάνω να το ξεχωρίσετε από άλλα σκληρυντικά, και να το αγαπήσετε όσο εγώ.

From my new collection of figurines made of Powertex in different poses you can see a combination of the materials I use.

This sculpture is named Unity.

Africans

My Africans were sculptured and painted with the technique of Powertex.

Two dogs

Again with the technique and materials of powertex these dogs were made during my class with the designer of the products in Holland. They have their own hats and shoes with co-ordinate coats!!

Hens

These are my two hens which I made during Easter time!
This sculpture is made with the technique and materials of powertex. It is weatherproof and the colors are metalic red, yellow, orange, green and brown.

Powertex fish

These fish were made on my trip back from the Netherlands and were bought by my friend Elina for her hotel in Mykonos where it blends perfectly with the hotel's physical environment.

The canvas, the hanging clothes and the hat are made out of Pretex, the hangers are made out of wire

All those torsoe's are entirely made of Powertex and hang either on canvases or wooden frames.

Fancy hat

This is a 3D King's crown-hat made of Powertex.

Decoupage on tree shells

These are a series of tree shells which after prossesing them I decoupaged Greek religious prints and distressed them to look old. I finished them off with varnish to achieve durability. Their bases are made of powertex.

Powertex wall art

Those pictures folowing are canvases worked up with powertex and different materials like wood, stones, and fabric. They are. Unfortunately from the picture you cannot understand its 3D texture.

Mirrors...

Here are my tranformed IKEA mirrors with various techniques...

This was done with wise old men in my mind and their figures are made with Powertex. The leaves are made of metal and then are coated with patina.

Following, this mirror is embellished with metal figurines and wire.

My blog absence

The reason I was away from updating my blog is because I was travelling throughout Europe (Holland, Germany, Belgium) for more seminars to enhance my art and learn more techniques on working with Powertex. I am now in the process of making 3 complete collections based on three themes and I will posting photos of my finished sculptures during the summer. Following now I will present you the work I have produced during the winter.

My powertex family

Here you can see my work displayed in my etsy store. Everything is handmade with attention to detail using the Powertex technique. These sculpture can be placed both indoors and outdoors since their initial material is weatherproof.
